Marma therapy with Lorena

According to Ayurveda, the ancient knowledge from India, life force energy (Prana) runs through  our body along channels called nadis. On these channels, there are 107 points where the energy is concentrated. Each point is called Marma (plural: Marmani).

With adequate pressure/touch, these points can be opened to promote the flow of Prana in the body and mind. This is the purpose of a Marma treatment.

It is a nice way to get deep relaxation and support a better sleep.

How to prepare myself for the session?

From the day before keep yourself hydrated. Avoid caffeine, alcohol, cigarettes or drugs and eat healthy food. Eat your last meal one hour before the treatment.

What happens during a session?

You lie down on your back, fully clothed, on a massage table. I will press Marma points on your body using my fingers (no needles or tools). After that, you take a rest on the table to get up slowly.

What to do after a session?

You will feel deeply relaxed and so take it easy after the session. If it is possible, come with public transport so you do not need to drive.

And do also the same as before the treatment: keep hydrated, no (or less) caffeine, alcohol, cigarettes of drugs and eat healthy food (next day also).
